Applicants need to submit a color copy of the information page in their passport. The applicant's name on all other submitted documents must match the legal first name and surname displayed in the passport, including any accented letters, hyphens, and/or suffixes. If any of the submitted documents do not match this legal name, supplementary documentation proving your identity may be requested of you. Also, passports must be valid for a minimum of 18 months (1.5 years) in relation to the expected contract start date.
Applicants that hold dual citizenship must submit a copy of the passport they intend to use to enter and legally work in Korea. Any applicant that holds Korean citizenship (dual or otherwise) must enter the country with their Korean passport in order to legally work in Korea. To prevent processing delays, applicants of Korean heritage should confirm their citizenship status before beginning the application process.
