On Dec 7, 2010 NIIED announced the winners of 2010 Essay/VOD contest. Since 2007, NIIED has hosted this nationwide essay contest for Korean and native English teachers in order to learn about teachers' useful experiences and share them with other teachers. This year, in addition to the essay contest, EPIK added the Movie Clip contest. The Movie Clip contest is a cooperative effort between a native English teacher and a Korean co-teacher that requires both of them to collaborate effectively to convey their teaching experiences and teaching skills through a narrative short movie.
This year, NIIED received a large amount of entries from all over the country, and really put a lot of efforts into choosing the best ones. The EPIK Staff really appreciates the efforts of all the teachers that participated in this event. The winners of the 2010 contest have finally been announced and posted on the EPIK website. EPIK will be sending the prizes to the winners through their POE/MOE soon. EPIK would like to encourage many teachers to participate in the upcoming 2011 contest as well.
