The EPIK Office is aware of the MERS virus emergence in Korea and is continually seeking updated information to re-evaluate the current situation. Since the first diagnosis of the virus in Korea, as well having considered the information currently made available, the EPIK Office and Program has been and will continue to proceed on with normal operations. As stated, however, the EPIK Office will continue to monitor the situation closely, and will ensure that all applicable individuals are updated should any major changes arise.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare, in addition to the Korean CDC, have setup a MERS hotline that can be accessed within Korea via 109 and from international locations via +82-109. This number serves locations in both Korea and overseas.
